EXHIBIT D-1 - WILDLIFE INFORMATION <br /> Bachelor Mines-Khedive level - Federal Resources Corporation <br /> July 22, 1980 <br /> The following information pertaining to wildlife is provided for use by <br /> the Land Reclamation Board in their consideration of a mining pernit <br /> For Federal Resources (Khedive level - Syracuse Mine) <br /> (Prerinus MPtalQ <br /> The Colorado Division of Wildlife does hereby find, to the best of our <br /> knowledge, that the impact of the proposed mining operation on wildlife <br /> will be <br /> X minor <br /> moderate <br /> major <br /> Mina Location: SE'< Sec. 18,T 44 N, R 7 W. , NMPM <br /> Wildlife Species List: (may be attached) Bighorn sheep, deer, elk, bear, <br /> mountain lion, snowshoe hare, blue grouse <br /> Endangared Species Impacted: None known <br /> Assessment of Impact on Wildlife: Winter time activity will impact winter <br /> range activities of deer, elk and bighorn sheep. <br /> .a <br /> Mine Reclamation Recommendations: (may be attached) We would recommend <br /> the area be reseeded with native vegetation. . Trees should include aspen and spruce. <br /> Native grasses and forbs should be used as much as possible. Crested wheatgrass <br /> should be used throughout the operation to stabilize loose slopes and help control <br /> erosion.
