CO 80246-1530
RE: Permit Number CQ-0046175
Mesa County
Dear Mr. Gates:
Enclosed please find a copy of the plot plan which represent changes Fruita Marketing
and Management (FNIM) and Elam Consttuction, Tnc. are evaluating. The Permit
currently has water staging in the southeastern portion of Subarea #3 and Outfall
(Number I) south to the Colorado River. Tn appears that a more efficient design would
pump water from the southwestern corner of Subarea #3 into the holding pond designated
Subarea #1. The Outfall would follow the ditch and discharge at the flume and sample
point used under the previous Discharge Permit.
FMM is also discussing this scenario with Ms. Teresa Bennett (HI~T:VNID-B2). P:ease
contact me if you have any questions or comments regarding this subject.
Sincerely,
James J. Stemrich
Cc: T. Sennett
