The State of Colorado, Division of Minerals and Geology requires that the operator of any sand and
gravel operation provide agreements between the operator and the owner of any significant, valuable
man-made structure located on, or within 200 feet of our sand and gravel operations know as the
GILSONITE GRAVEL PIT, in Mesa County Colorado.
The Grand Valley Rural Power Lines, Inc., 2727 Grand Avenue, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501, [phone]
owns and maintains the following man-made structures within 200 feet of the above indicated operations:
1. Utility Poles
2. Overhead Electric Lines and Electrical Appurtenances.
- CERTIFICATION -
The undersigned, Harold F. Elam, President of Elam Construction, Inc. does hereby certify that GRAND VALLEY
RURAL POWER LINES, INC. will be compensated for any costs incurred resulting from damage to the above listed
structures located within, or 200 feet, of the affected land described within Exhibit A, of the Construction Materials
Application, as a result of our mining activities. Subject to the following conditions:
1. Maintaining a 20 foot clear radius around poles.
2. No excavation or embankment will occur around poles.
3. Maintain a vertical distance of 15 feet between any equipment and overhead power lines.
4. Assisting Grand Valley Rural Power Lines, Inc. in accessing their facilities in the event of an emergency.
