WILDLIFE INFORMATION <br />1. Significant Game Resources on the Affected Lands <br />EXHIBIT H <br />None. The site is void of soil and vegetation due to past industrial operations and has little benefit <br />to wildlife. In addition, the evaporation ponds contain petroleum products which have a volatile <br />odor during warm weather. <br />2. Significant Non-Game Resources on the Affected Lands <br />Bald eagles have been sighted in the area although no nests have been seen within the vicinity of. <br />the permit area. Cotton Tail Rabbits, Richardson Ground Squirrels, Mourning Doves, Blue Herons, <br />Racoons, Beavers, Ring-Necked Pheasants, Grouse, Quail, Canada Geese, various duck species and <br />songbirds use the area but to a very minor extent due to the poor condition of the land. <br />3. Seasonal Use of the Affected Lands <br />As described in Item 1 above, the land is not used by wildlife to any significant extent during any <br />season due to the nature of the site. <br />4. Presence and Estimated Population of Threatened and Endangered species in the area. <br />None on the permit area but [he endangered Pike Minnow, Humpback Chub arid Razorback Sucker <br />are found in this area of the Colorado River. <br />Gilsonite Pit 10/02 28 <br />
