6. RECLAMATION TIMETABLE
Since mining of the phased areas is concurrent with reclamation, the timetable is somewhat tied to
the rate of mining in this azea. Since actual sales are difficult to predict, the assumption will be
made that the operation will mine and se11200,000 tons of total product per year, on an average.
The timetable in the mining plan also reflects these rates. The expected reclamation timetable is
given below:
RECLAMATION TIMETABLE
Task
# Description Time Needed
months
1 Backfill slopes in Phase 1 pit from 1 H:1 V to 3H:1 V using naturals
from Phase 1 mining and overburden from Phase 2. 1
2 For Phases 2,3,4,5, move overburden to reclaim previous phases
prior to mining. Ongoing reseeding and mulching of these strips. 112
3 Use naturals and overburden placed in the bottom of previous phases
to backfill the fmal phase.
