The Air Pollution Control Division has reviewal your emission permit application for the potable crusher homebasal
m Fbrence, Colorado, Fremont Cauvy, Colorlda. It has been dderminal that the above emission point has uncontrolled
acnul missions of less tlwt two tons per yea and dons riot anal significant quantities of IvtUnlats or alorous pollutants.
The above emission point is therefore exempt from the filing of Air Pollutant Enussion Notice(s), APEN(s), aril is else
exempt from permit requirements (per Regulation No. 3, Section II.D.I.a., snl Section III.D.I.a).
This exemption from permit requirements is issual in reliance upon the accuracy aral completetuss of information
supplied by the applicant and is conditioned upon Construction, installation sad operation in accordance with this
uiformdion 1ua1 with representations made by the applicant or applicant's agents. SpeciFically, this exemption has been
grantal provided that the following information is accurate and complete:
The primtry crashing capacity of this unit is less than 25 tons per hour.
Accorling to the Division'a prelimirwry erwlysis, this emission point will result in the emission of the following air
pollutants (om m uncontrolled acnial basis):
Particulate Matter (fSP): 0.18 tons per year.
Particulate Matter (PM ]0): 0.08 toss per year.
The Division has further determined that et if the crusher throughput was 800,000 tons per year, uncontrolled emissions
of Particulate Matter (fSP) would egtwl two tons per year. At this level an ADEN would then be required.
It should be noted that although exempted emission points may not need air emission permits, they still are required to
meet all applicable stardarcLs encl regirlatioas of the Air Qiwlity Control Corrunission, including:
Visible emissions shall not exceed 20rb opacity.
Please be advised that annual records of the ammmt of material crashed shall be maintained by the applicant and made
available to the Division for inspection upon request.
