Some very personal
concerns are the location of our home and xater. We have lived in this
home for about ten years. There is a very high rock cliff in our back yard.
The property has a lot of shale, xhich our home is on. We all knox shale
does alot of moving. This is also an old land slide area. What effect
xill the blasting from this mining have on us? This rock cliff ridge runs
over to the project sight. What effect xill blasting have on the inactive
faults in this area? What effect will it have on our xell? There are
many unansxered questions about this project, that i feel need some ansxers.
As for reclamation of this land hox do you reclaim high wall (bench
cut mining).
I strongly recommend public hearings on this project. Please keep
us informed of anything to do xith the Parkdale Minr.
Thank You
~~~~ ~~~
James & LaVone Clark
Fyrc: Photos of rock cliffs
James & LaVone Clark
41931 xwy. 5o W.
Canon City, CO 8I2I2-9740
719/275-1836
