The soil typically
has a fine sandy loam surface and sandy loam layers below the
surface. It overlies gravelly sand at a depth of about 36 inches.
This area near the river is well drained most of the year due to
the depth of the river channel.
When preparing the.site for reseeding, the gravelly material on the
=_urface may be scraped off down to about the natural topsoil.
Available stockpiled topsoil may be spread aver the site before
reseeding.
The natural vegetation for this site is cottonwood trees, willows,
rose, bluegrass, western wheatgrass and tufted hairgras=_. See
attached CO-ECS-S (Grass seeding planned) for seeding
recommendations. If we can be of further assistance please notify
us.
Sincerely,
_~ ~ ~yVr,..v~i~,
J.P.
