ations Plan - Rule 2.05
1. The applicant needs to address the resource recovery requirements
• in terms of the overlying B and C Coal Seams.
RESPONSE:
~ At the present time, Peerless Resources, Inc. has no plans for mining
the B and C Coal Seams within the first five (5) years of mining.
Peerless Resources, Inc. currently believes that the B Coal Seam is too
thin to be economically or physically recovered by underground mining
operations. Mining of the overlying C Coal Seam is a possibility, but
Peerless Resources, Inc. needs to complete additional feasibility
studies before committing to extract the C Coal Seam; before any mining
of the overlying C Coal Seam, Peerless Resources, Inc. will file the
necessary revisions and will obtain the proper approvals from the
Division.
C~
•
Peerless Resources, Inc. should emphasize that, if there is coal that is
economically mineable and physically recoverable within the permit area,
the company will make every effort to mine this coal and minimize any
future disturbance caused by mining.

2. us- 2A
