Reclamation Costs
The County appropriates annually in the normal budget process
sufficient monies for the Department of Transportation to complete
the necessary reclamations of gravel pits . A separate account
number is established in the Department 's accounting system for
costs related to reclamation of gravel pits .
Attached is a statement by the Director of the Department of
Transportation stating that monies are available for and that
affected lands will be reclaimed in accordance with the terms of the
permit and Section 34-32-116 of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation
Act .
