EL PASO COUNTY
110 PERMIT APPLICATION
SEPTEMBER 1980
EXHIBIT E
Reclamation Plan
Reclamation consists of stripping and stock piling the existing top
soil from the gravel deposit .
Interim sloping of the working face of the pit is generally at a
3 : 1 slope .
Upon removal of the available gravel deposits the worked face of
the pit will be sloped to a 4 : 1 slope with the stockpiled top soil
being replaced over the disturbed area . The reseeding plan as
recommended by the Soil Conservation Service will be followed with
fertilization but-without mulching. Generally the reseeding will
be accomplished in late summer or early fall .
The haul road where it exists to serve the ranch will be left with-
out reseeding unless the road serves no purpose for the ranch , in
which case the road will be scarified by a motor grader and then
reseeded as per Soil Conservation Service recommendations .
