EFF~.~EP9~ (IUAfl.B~'X ~TAfd®14R®S <br />11.01 If effluent is dischazged into surface waters, the effiuent shall consistently meet the <br />requirements of the NPDES permit issued for the system. <br />11.02 if effluerrt discharge is made irrto the atmosphere or upon the ground surface in areas in which <br />the possibility exists for occasional direct human contact with the discharged effiuent, the <br />effiuent at the point of discharge and sampling shall consistently meet each ofthe following <br />standards: <br />A. The fecal coliform density shall not exceed two (2) per one hundred (100) <br />milliliters . <br />B. The standard five day Biochemical Oxygen Demand (HODS) shall not exceed <br />twenty (20) milligrams per liter. <br />C. The total suspended matter shall not exceed forty (40) mt~lfigrams per liter. <br />11.03 If effluent discharge is made into the atmosphere or upon the ground surface in an area so <br />restricted as to protect against the likelihood of direct human contact with the dischazged <br />effiuent, the effiuent at the point of discharge and sampling shall consistently meet each of the <br />following standazds: <br />A. The fecal coliform density shall not exceed five hundred (500) per one hundred (100) <br />milliliters. <br />B. The standazd five-day Biochemical Oxygen Demand (HODS) shall not exceed twenty <br />(20) milligrams per liter. <br />C. The total suspended matter shall not exceed forty (40) milligraths per liter. <br />57 <br />
