<br />EXHIBIT A <br />Legal Description and Location Map <br /> <br />9.9 acres in the NW I/4N W 1 /4 and SW 1/4N W I/4 of Section I I, Township 7 South, Range 53 <br />West of the 6ih P.M. <br />EXHIBIT B <br />Site Description <br />(a) Vegetation: <br />The general vegetative survey in the area consists mainly of a mixture of native grasses and <br />miscellaneous fortis on the upland site. The predominant grasses consist of blue grams, sand <br />dropseed, and western wheat. Other grasses present are prairie three awn, needle & thread, <br />and prairie sandreed. Some of the fortis present are yucca, prickly pear cactus, scurf pea, and <br />western wallflower. The dry creek bed where the mining will be has no vegetation growing <br />on it. <br />Soil characteristic: <br />BANKARD-GLENBERG, 0 to 3 percent slopes, occasionally flooded <br />Bankard Loamy Sand is more than 60 inches deep with a lighter colored surface layer and <br />slopes of 0-3 percent. Landfomi: Flood plains; Frost free days: 135-I55; Available water <br />capacity in inches: 3.1-4.3: Major considerations: Flooding; Landuse may include: none <br />I i sted. <br />Glenberg Fine Sandy Loam is more than 60 inches deep with a lighter colored surface layer <br />and slopes of 0-3 percent. Landfonn: Flood plains; Frost free days: 135-I55; Available water <br />capacity in inches: 4.7-6.8; Major considerations: Flooding; Landuse may include: cropland. <br />(b) Structures <br />There are no permanent man-made structures within 200 feet of the site. <br />(c) Water Resources <br />Drainage from the affected area will be into the Arickaree River, which is a tributary to the <br />Republican River. <br />(d) Wildlife statement: <br />No critical or important wild life habitats or wildlife species will be impacted. <br />
