Dept. of Na!~ral Resource
This is in reply to your adequacy letter of 4/18/86. First let me
explain the attached $40.00 check for additional per it fees, calculated
as follows:
3.71 additional acres @ $10.00/A + $40.00
1 acre is being added for disturbed area between the 110 South
boundary and the Arkansas River. This area was disturbed to
allow trucks acess to place riprap in an area of some erosion that
had become a concern.
2.71 acres are being added to encompass the abandoned Booth Orchard
Grove Ditch right-of-way which will be used for diversion of the
small arroyo some years in the future. This increases the total -•v
permit acreage to 71.71. _'4
I will address your questions in the same sequence as they are
presented in your letter:
Exhibit A - Leeal Description
The haul road does traverse a bit of the SE'~,SE'~. Sec. 27. However,
it is not a part of the permit area. This road was constructed before
VALCO"s ownership of the property to serve a residence immediately north
of the permit area. It now is used primarily to serve the ready mix
plant and industrial area. It will not be reclaimed.
ROCKY FORD LAMAR CANON CITY
GUNNISON
