Vegetation. report.
It is noted that the soil conservation service agency
is available and we would be happy to do so if you
think. it is pertinent. Our opinion and reasoning leads
me to believe that ~ we are concerned with a definite
affected land area and the soil or vegatation.involved
is simply not there. The affected land is solid granite.
The granite is a pa~liose felspar, quartz and mica
composition.. It is solid granite with absolutely no soil..
We are in a solid extrusion. with absolutely~r no chance
for growth. A comparison. would be the road up Pikes Peak.
When the road overlaps a solid mass of granite, a level
bench of road width is removed, no soil is involved and
reclamation is impossible. The quarry area is an extension
of a road. This affected area is wide enough to turn a car
around. It is a wide spot in a road. If the Pikes Peak
road could not be reclained,. then. our case is similar.
Q UARRIERS & MANUFACTURERS OF COLORADO ROSE RED GRANITE -SAWYERS & POLISHERS
