In order to make a final determination as to whether or not CDOT can enter
into a consent document, CDOT is requesting the following additional information:
• Will an access permit /construction permit to SH 119 be requested and if so at what exact
Milepost?
• If a new access to SH 119 is required and/or modification, this request should also be routed
through Chuck Binford, CDOT's Permit Coordinator for Region 1 at 303-981-3684. Mr.
Binford will likely have additional questions when he is contacted.
• Access modifications in this area would have to be reviewed in relationship to operations with
the Sanitary Sewer Plant and the Phillips Gas Station traffic movements already in this area.
• Amount of truck traffic associated with this new operation?
• Hours of operation?
• What County permits for air and noise qualities have been obtained?
• CDOT would request that it be provided with a performance or swety bond for its benefit, in
an amount to be mutually determined, to enswe that sufficient funds aze available in the event
of a claim arising from the activities associated with this project.
We are in contact with Alex Schatz of Banks and Gesso regazding these issues. It is our
understanding that Banks and Gesso is working on behalf of Clear Creek District Water Providers
regarding this matter. If these questions aze addressed to CDOT's satisfaction, I would envision
~, ~,~
