G 2' 1981
MINED LAND P~CLAfV1ATIDN
Colo. Dept. of Natural neso~rce~
Gantlaman:
It has coma to our attention that the Robinson Brick and Tile
Company of Denver Colorado, is mining clay on our property
located in the City of Laldewood, Section 25, Twn.01~, Range 70.
Not baing familiar with Colorado mining law, it would seem to
us we should have been informed of Robinsons intentions to
mina on our property in advance of their actual operations.
Be that as it may, we are objecting to the manner in which
Robinson Brick and Tile Co. propose to reclaim the area in
which they are mining. We are informed that they are planning
on scattering a little grass seed and filling the pit with
water. We are objecting to this plan strenuously.
We want the area left in the same condition as it was before
Robinson entered the Property. Most certainly, we do not want
water pits and piles of overburden.
We trust that you as members of The Mined Land Reclamation Board
will give this matter your kind attention.
Yours truly
Cecil Schneider, President
