Slow ( .O6 to .2"/hr.) Bedrock is greater than 60". Available water capacity for the 60 inch rooting depth is 6.8 inches. Water table depth is greater than 6 ft. Capability: VIIe nonirrigated Range Site Deep clay loam Normal production is 2000 lbs./acre dry weight forages. Erosion Hazard: Slight from wind, high from water. Frequency of flooding is none. Other features: ' Surface runoff is rapid to very rapid. Soil pH is 6.6 to 7.8 Salinity is less than 2 h4nhas/cm. Low to high shrink/swell potential. Risk of corrosion for uncoated steel is moderate to high and low for concrete. Moderate frost action potential. Poor for roadfill because of slope, low strength, and shrink/swell. Unsuitable for sand and gravel and a poor source of topsoil because of slope, and too clayey.
