1
Since the operation is hill top removal, groundwater is not anticipated
to be affected. Additionally, no major drainages or draws bisect the
area to be affected.
Access to the site is off of County Road 38 on an established landowner
access road, to be maintained by the landowner. The permit area itself
has been surveyed and the corners marked. The corners will remain
clearly visible in the field to minimize the potential for breaching the
permit area by excavation related activities. Topsoil stockpiles will
be identified to minimize confusion and risk of disturbance prior to
utilization during revegetation.
The excavation of the area could take less than two years, but probably
would not exceed five years, depending upon market influences.
Regardless, where 3 or more acres have been affected, and will not be
reaffected by subsequent operation e, reclamation efforts will commence.
Reclamation of the entire site will be completed within five years of
completion of excavation.
' It should be noted that the previous landowner has placed a great deal
of junk within the permit area. This material will be relocated by the
previous owner prior to commencement of operations. If the present
' owner retains any of the material for salvage, it will be stored at an
alternate location on her property and away from the permit area.
Disposal of any material by the present owner will occur at an approved
waste disposal facility or landfill.

CJ
I~
I
r
1
