Difference in suitability of the topsoil present at the proposed site and the typical Sharps Loam <br />is not addressed iSrillsl <br />DMG review of the application identified no adequacy issues for Exhibit I, Soils <br />Information. Applicant utilized information from the Natural Resources Conservation <br />Service (formerly SCSI soil surveys in application submittal. Suitability of available topsoil <br />is addressed in NRCS information, included within the application, and is evident by the <br />vegetative cover currently existing at the proposed site. <br />9. Applicant utilized information from the NRCS <br />Ranaesite Descri tion for "Loamy Foothills" to describe the native potential vegetation. <br />Quantitative estimates for the principal species in each life-form represented is present. <br />The relationship of present vegetation type to soil type and topography are represented in <br />that the site is covered by the same vegetation community and is underlain by the same <br />soil type with little change in topography. Estimates for annual production, which relate <br />directly to carrying capacity, are present. <br />Response - 9.f -Weed control is a performance requirement of Rule 3.1.10(6) and is a <br />standard inspection topic of DMG routine inspections. Additionally, the applicant and 6LM <br />have agreed to a cooperative weed control effort. <br />Response - 9.g -BLM is the surface management agency, has reviewed the application, <br />and has completed an Environmental Analysis for the proposed operation. BLM <br />Environmental Analysis did not indicate the presence of any endangered species of plant <br />life. <br />
