Please be advised that on July 29, 1998, Johnson Excavation, Inc., whose address and telephone number are
P.O. Box 773689, Steamboat Springs, CO 80477-3689; [phone], filed an application to conduct surface
extraction of construction materials and reclamation, at or near Section 17, Township 6N, Range 85 W, 6th Prime
Meridian, in Routt County. The application decision is scheduled for October 27, 1998.
A copy of the application is available for review at the Routt County Clerk & Recorder's off ice and at the office
of the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203.
All written comments or objections must be submitted within twenty (20) days of the date of the newspaper
public notice to be considered in the application review process by the Division. You should contact the
