The only realistic chance that these sites <br />will becarie visible is through ground disturbance. <br />Colorado Westmoreland and the Bureau of Iand Management may wish to <br />discuss the potential for a post~iisturbance survey policy in areas <br />densely vegetated. Prior to any surface disturbance, archaeologists <br />could focus their attention on topographic areas likely to be conducive <br />for site locations. After or concurrent with the developmental <br />activity, archaeologists could then inspect areas that were previously <br />obscured by vegetatica or duff.
