The average depth mining will occur is twelve (12) feet. <br />2. All topsoil will be salvaged. Depth of topsoil ranges <br />from non-existing to four feet, the average depth being six (6) <br />inches. The Applicants agree with the comments captioned "Exhibit D <br />- Mining Plan, paragraph 2". <br />3. The permit area is staked with T-posts set at the pins <br />placed by the surveyor. <br />4. Sediment control will conform to the statements <br />previously made in Exhibit D - Mining Plan of the application <br />documents, to wit: <br />"...overburden to be stockpiled in the lower <br />elevations of the project to catch any materials which <br />might be carried offsite by water." <br />and, <br />"... and basin terraces shall be installed to <br />prevent erosion..." <br />5. Areas shall be reclaimed between the mine area and the <br />process area. Temporary roads shall be installed to provide <br />communication between the mine area and the process area. Reclaimed <br />areas shall be staked with T-posts. <br />6. The process area shall be three (3) acres. <br />7. Topsoil on the access road will be salvaged for future <br />reclamation. <br />8. Mr. Hamilton's map may be removed as confidential <br />material. <br />9. Expected life of this mine is 15 years. <br />Exhibit E - Reclamation Plan <br />1. No comment required. <br />2. The gradient of the final slope will be 37. <br />3. Any compacted areas shall be ripped to increase the <br />potential for reclamation success. <br />- 1 - <br />
