• ~,l• Stipulation X18 The Division requests a resampling of the
pre-mine and reference areas of the pinon pine-juniper
vegetation type during the 1982 growing season.
CCMC and the Division have had several discussions regarding
this matter. A meeting was held on July 10, 1982 to specifi-
cally discuss the need for additional sampling. The Division
indicated that a decision would be made regarding this
subject in the near future (Exhibit 3).
Stipulation 919 The Division requests a demonstration. of the
adequacy of sampling previously performed for woody plant
density for the grassland and pinon-juniper vegetation type
or undertake adequate sampling in these areas during the 1982
growing season pursuant to a sampling plan approved by the
Division.
The Division has indicated that the sampling previously
performed for woody plant density in the grassland vegetation
has been determined adequate. The need for additional shrub
density sampling in the pinon-juniper vegetation type was
discussed in the July 10, 1982 meeting and will be decided at
a later date by the Division (Exhibit 3).
•
•
