This pipeline presently traverses portions of Section's 9
and 16, Township 19 South, Range 69 West, Fremont County. As indicated in
the Public Notice, Fremont Paving &Redi-Mix, Inc., has made application for a
reclamation permit to mine gravel from a portion of Section 9 & 16. CIG was
present at the Fremont County Commissioners meeting when this gravel mining
operation was addressed. CIG's concerns were voiced to the commissioners at
that time and now I wish to make those concerns known to the Division.
CIG has no objection to the proposed mining, subject to the following
conditions:
• Mining should not occur closer than 25 feet to the pipeline and the
area mined should be sloped at no more than 3:1 to prevent
erosion.
• No blasting should occur within the mining area without prior
notification of CIG's District Manager, 2951 Chambers Road,
Aurora, Colorado 8001 1, phone 303/364-2631 .
• No activity should take place over CIG's right of way without 48
hour prior notification to said District Manager.
RECEIVED
MAR 2 91995
pivision o~ rvw~erais ~ Geology
Colorado Interstate Gas Company
ASU9SIUTAflV OF THE CUASiAL GUflPURAlIUN
P 0 9UF' 199i • CULURAOU SPRINGS CO 999fa •719/x771300
