6.4.12 Exhibit L -Reclamation Costs <br />Tables 6.4.12-1 and 2 present the estimated maximum possible reclamation <br />costs for each phase of this operation. Reclamation activities for the West Pit will <br />be completed prior to mining the East Pit (with the exception of awaiting <br />establishment of the vegetation). <br />To clarify the calculations, the Direct Costs for Items 1 & 2 are based upon the <br />following <br />item 1 -The maximum stockpile, as reported in Exhibit E <br />Item 2 -Based on the backfill required to grade slopes of largest cell, <br />requiring most backfill (Phase I, Cell 2 and Phase II, combined cells 1 & 2) <br />when fully excavated (minus Item 1 backfill volume) <br />$1/yard for earthwork is based upon actual costs reported by operators <br />February 20, 2006 Bokelman/Walters Pit <br />Page 26 of 36 Regular 112 Permit Application <br />
