The Pond 7 design
shows how these culverts were designed.
CULVERT 114
This 42" CMP is where the CC Ditch overtlow crosses the access road to get to the HDPE pipe inlet
from 2700 Road. The size of the culvert is based on the maximum ditch overflow. There is no
drainage basin into this culvert.
CULVERT 115
This is the 42" pipe which contains the actual HDPE pipeline under the B8 Detour Road. When the
detour is removed, this culvert will remain with a mound of dirt above it since the pipeline is
permanent.
CULVERT 116
This 18" CMP is actually an erosion control pipe allowing water from Ditch C11 to enter Pond 8 on
its incised steep embankment. The steepness of the pipe and the fact that the surrounding ground
can handle the overFlow allows the 18" pipe to be acceptable in this case.
REVISED MARCH 2006
Attachment 2.05.3(3)-1-76
