'?'he mitigation area is located <br />within Section 23, Township 1 South, Range 1 West, Mesa County, <br />Colorado. <br />The Watson Island mitigation plan wil'_ successfully offset <br />impacts to waters of the United States associated with mine <br />expansicn at the Sandborn Creek Mine (Permit No. C-81-022) with <br />the following special conditions: <br />• 1. Corps approval of the seed mixture prior to being used in <br />revegetat:on of the restoration area. <br />2. Any materials that can be safely handled, such as *_ires, <br />without special precauticns will be removed frcm Watscr. Island <br />for disposal by the appropriate entir=ies. <br />3. The mitigation. work must be ccmplete3 by January 1, 1998. <br />You must notify this office in writing within 30 days cf <br />completion of the mitigation measures.
