That the permittee shall avoid channelization of the stream while <br />performing the authorized work. <br />b. That to minimize disturbance of riparian vegetation, the permittee <br />shall avoid destruction of deciduous trees and large shrubs during construction <br />of the access road. <br />c. That all areas disturbed by construction shall be revegetated with <br />riparian species indigenous to the area. Suggested plantings and/or seedings <br />include: <br />Grass: Indian ricegrasa, western wheatgrasa and pubescent wheatgrasa <br />should be mined and drilled at a rate of 12 lba/acre of pure live seed or <br />broadcast and rolled at twice this rate of pure live seed/acre. <br />Shrubs: Big sage, mountain lover, chokecherry, current, winter fat, wild <br />rose and willow. Shrubs should be planted in clumps or cluatera throughout any <br />disturbed area. <br />Trees: Cottonwood, Russian olive, Pinyon pine, Douglas fir, Ponderosa <br />pine and Rocky Mtn. juniper should be planted randomly throughout any disturbed <br />areas. <br />d.
