Page 2 <br />Mr. William Peetz <br />September 26, 2002 <br />6.4.4 EXHIBIT D - Minine Plan <br />DMG has no comments at this time. <br />6.4.5 EXHIBIT E -Reclamation Plan <br />The reclamation plan references "All areas disturbed by mining activity will be seed <br />drilled with the seed mix below. The seed mix does not appeaz in the reclamation plan. <br />It is assumed the seed mix included in Mr. Roy Roper's letter is adopted at this reference. <br />If this is the case, please so affirm. <br />3.1.10 6 of the performance standazds states "Methods of weed control shall be <br />employed for all prohibited noxious weed species, and whenever invasion of a reclaimed <br />azea by other weed species seriously threatens the continued development of the desired <br />vegetation. Weed control methods shall also be used whenever the inhabitation of the <br />reclaimed area by weeds threatens further spread of serious weed pests to neazby areas" <br />6.4.6 EXHIBIT F -Reclamation Plan Map <br />DMG has no comments at this time. <br />6.4.7 EXHIBIT G -Water Information <br />DMG has no comments at this time. <br />6.4.5 EXHIBIT H -Wildlife Information <br />The Colorado Division of Wildlife letter recommends a weed control plan to reduce <br />impacts to surrounding habitats. This is strongly recommended by DMG as well. The <br />applicant should consider either including a weed control plan or committing to <br />combating noxious weeds as they invade the area as noted in Exhibit E above. <br />6.4.9 EXHIBIT I -Soils Information <br />DMG has no comments at this time. <br />6.4.10 EXHIBIT J - Ve¢etation Information <br />DMG has no comments at this time. <br />6.4.11 EXHIBIT K -Climate Information <br />DMG has no comments at this time. <br />6.4.12 EXHIBIT L -Reclamation Costs <br />The bond calculation appears to be adequate for the application as presented. <br />6.4.13 EXHIBIT M -Other Permits and Licenses <br />DMG has no comments at this time. <br />
