<br />2.05.5(3) PROTECTION OF THE HYDROLOGIC BALANCE <br />No effect upon surface or ground water is expected from <br />mining activities at Peacock Coal Mine. Surface water from the <br />disturbed area is to be contained within the disturbed area and <br />evaporated, except for floods exceeding the predicted ten year <br />maximum for a 24-hour period, in accordance with part 2.05.3(4). <br />The permit area is not an aquafer recharging area, and no ground <br />water has been encountered in previous mining activities. <br />The applicant will engage the services of: <br />Fred M.
