Stevens for tlic <br />Peacock Coal Kline. Stevens' interest in the Peacock Coal Dine <br />has been acquired by the applica~it. The applicant is in the <br />process of transferring these permits to properly reflect its <br />ownership acid control. <br />National Pollution Discharge Elimination System <br />Permit has been issued to Carbon Energy, Inc, in connection witli <br />the proposed operation of the Vixon Mine. 'Phe.applicant has ac- <br />quired the interest of Carbon Energy, Inc. and it is believed that <br />• the NPDGSP permit can be transferred to the Peacock Coal Mine. <br />The applicant will promptly apply for an Emmission Permit. <br />However, because all surface water, from the disturbed area is to <br />be contained within tiie disturbed area as described in part 2.05.3 <br />(4), no Emission permit is expected to be required. <br />-18- <br />
