EXHIBIT A <br />Legal Description <br />Native Red Cldy Mine <br />This application covers 9.9 acres contained within the following legal subdivisions <br />and acreage: <br />Parcel B: All of the southeast one-quarter of the northeast one quarter of <br />Section 30, Township 20 South, Range 64 West of the 6th principal Meridian; <br />also a tract of land, being a portion of the SW; NE; of said section 30, described <br />as follows: <br />"Beginning at the southwest corner of the SW; NE; of section 30, Township 20 <br />South, Range 64 West of the 6th principal meridian; Thence east along the south <br />line of said SW', NE', a distance of 741.8 feet to its intersection with <br />the west line of hudson street, if produced ,said point to be the true point <br />of beginning of the herein described parcel; thence north along the west line <br />of Hudson Street, if produced, a distance of 1302.1 feet, more or less, to a <br />p^int on the north line of the SW; NE; of said section 30; thence east <br />along the north sine of said SW; NE', a distance of 628 feet, more or less, <br />to the northeast corner of said SW-; NE ;; thence south along the east line of <br />said SW; NE; a distance of 1155 feet, more or less, to a point on the <br />south line of 15th street, if produced; thence west along the said south line <br />of 15th Street, if produced, a distance of 505 feet, rtiore or less, to a point <br />on the east line of Hudson Street, if produced; thence south along the said east <br />line of Hudson street, if produced a distance of 133.15 feet, more or less, to <br />a point on the south line of the SW'< NE; of said section 30; thence west <br />along the south line of said SW; NE; a distance of 80 feet to the true point <br />of beginning." <br />The above described parcel of land contains 16 acres, more or less. According to <br />the office of the Pueblo County Assessor, the total area of Parcel B is approximately <br />56 acres. <br />
