4) All fees collected under this Rule shall be deposited in the general fund. <br />• RESPONSE <br />A fee of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00) was submitted as the permit fee required under this Section <br />with the permit revision application. <br />Approximately 3,200 surface acres have been affected (i.e. overlie longwall mined or mining areas) by mining and <br />related activities. This includes those areas included within original permit, Southwest Mining District, and the initial <br />panels in the Eastern Mining District. For the remainder of the Eastern Mining District (Panels 2-Right through 6- <br />Right) and the Northern Mining District (Panels 12-Right through 22-Right (partial)) a total of approximately 5,900 <br />acres will be affected. The total affected area for areas previously mined and proposed to be mined, under the <br />currently approved mine plan is 9,100 acres. The total of Lifeof--Mine permit boundary encompasses approximately <br />21,720 acres (reduced by 1,320 acres by TROS-51), as shown on Maps 1 and 2. The total disturbance azea is <br />approximately 490 acres (refer to 2005 Annual Reclamation Report). <br />NORTHERN MINING DISTRICT (Panels 12-Right to 25-Right) <br />The Northern Mining District (Panels 12-Right through 25-Right) added approximately 4,400 acres to the affected <br />acreage category (Map 23).
