BP has recently
constructed a detention pond at the southwest corner of its site along the east side of CR 309. The
question was whether overflow from this pond could potentially reach the proposed gravel pit.
Based on field review and topographic data assessment it was found that this potential outflow
would not reach the affected area of the proposed pit Any outflow from this detention pond will
be collected imn a bar ditch running parallel with the CR 309 and carried south approximately
1,400 feet to a point where a culvert crosses under the roadway to the west This crossing carries
flows into an existing ravine that enters the river valley well south of the proposed pit boundary
(see attached map).
Please contact me should you have questions or comments.
Sincerely
~~
Matt Carnahan
Consultant) Agent for Gravel, LLC
Encl.
Xc: w/ attac7~merus, Kate Pickford, DMG, DGO
D.
