Depth to bedrock is 20 to 40 inches. <br />Available water capacity for the 30" rooting depth is 2.6 inches. <br />Water table depth is greater than 72 inches. <br />Erosion hazard is moderate from water and slight from wind. <br />Frequency of flooding is none. <br />Capability Unit: IV irrigated, VI nonirrigated <br />Range Site: Loamy foothills <br />woodland type: Pinyon, juniper <br />Other Features: <br />Medium runoff. <br />Some areas may have stony surface layers. <br />Moderately deep to calcareous marl. <br />Soil pH is 7.9-6.4. <br />Salinity is less than 2 Mmhos/cm. <br />Shrink-swell potential is low. <br />Risk of corrosion is high for uncoated steel & low for concrete. <br />Frost action potential is low. <br />Poor for roadfill - thin layer, area reclaim. <br />Unsuitable for sand s gravel - thin layer; and poor as source of <br />topsoil - small stones. <br />
