Profile No. 9CW <br />Classification: <br />• Series :DELSON <br />Phase :Deep <br />Location: NW,SW,NE,NE Sec.23, Township 135, Range 91W <br />This is a deep, moderately well drained (Class 3) loamy soil which <br />occurs on basalt colluvium in slumps and slides on a slope of 32 percent <br />at an elevation of 7300 ft and an aspect of 164 degrees. The soil is <br />formed from basalt, has no outcrops (rockiness class 0), and 3-15X <br />coverage of basalt boulders (stoniness class 3). The soils permeability <br />is moderate (permeability class 4) with moderate runoff (runoff class 3) <br />and no groundwater. Water has caused slight erosion (water erosion class <br />1) on the soil. The climate is semi-arid. The dominant vegetation is <br />Gambel oak, serviceberry and adapted grasses. <br />a 0-8 inches.
