Mount RECEIVE® <br />Division of Minerals and Geology <br />Department of Natural Resources JAN 0 8 1001 <br />1313 Sherman St., Room 215 <br />Denier, CO 80203 Division of Ninarals and Geology <br />RE: Rocky Hoffschneider (Platte River Sand and Gravel, LLC), USR-1306 <br />Corps File No. 200180011 <br />Dear Mr. Mount: <br />Reference is made to the above-mentioned project located in portions of Sections 23, 26, 34 and <br />35, Toa~rlship 4 North, Range 67 West, and portions of Section 2, Township 3 North, Range 67 West, <br />Weld County, Colorado. <br />During a December 28, 2000 site meeting with Mr. Rocky Hoffschneider, Mr. Terry McKee of <br />this office discussed Department of the Army permitting requirements and wetland issues pursuant to <br />Section 404 of the Clean Water Act. <br />If any work associated with this project requires the placement of dredge or fill material, and any <br />excavation associated with a dredged or fill project, either temporary or permanent, in waters of the <br />United States which includes ephemeral, intermittent and perennial streams, lakes, ponds or wetlands at <br />this site, this office should be notified by a proponent of the project for proper Department of the Army <br />permits or changes in permit requirements pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act. <br />If there are any questions concerning this matter please call Mr. Terry McKee of this office at <br />303-979-4120 and reference Corps File No. 200180011. <br />Sincerely, <br />Timo arey <br />Chie , enve Regu ftice <br />tm <br />
