There is currently no overburden on the waste rock/alluvium pile
that is to be extracted, and since the purpose is to create a level
and useable site by removing this waste rock/alluvium, no overburden
will be added to the site once mining is complete.
b. It is not proposed to have any reclaimed slopes on the property
at the conclusion of mining. The site will be level.
c. The site will not be revegetated after mining. Future uses will
dictate the type of landscaping that will be added at the conclusion
of construction.
d. No ponds streams,,roads or buildings will be involved with the
mining of t{~is materaal.
e. We are removingg existing waste rock during mining and not
creating anything Ehat needs additional reclamation. The hydrologic
balance will not be affected by removing this material. Any
stormwater or snowmelt that is on the property, will continue to
percolate into the coarse alluvium and gravels that underlie this
area.
f. No reclamation costs are involved with this project, since the
mining work ie being done to create a level and useable site for
future use. The excavation cost is estimated to be $1.35/yd.
