State Req.
• Northwest Diversion Ditch
The Northwest Diversion Ditch will be routed along the ditch of the
existing road, as shown on F~chibit 7-7, to minimize surface disturbance.
The diversion ditch will drain approximately 946 acres which is undisturbed,
or is old mined areas that has been reclaimed and revegetated and a small
disturbed area of approximately 2.8 acres known as the "Outside Warehouse
Area" and the "Old Bone Yard" which is an outside area. All other areas
around the "Outside Warehouse Area" and the "Old Bone Yard" will be
vegetated and stabilized once the diversion ditch is complete. The location
of this diversion ditch will minimize the overall disturbance in the area and
no runoff will enter the drainage from new or existing mine areas.
•

7-6-3-4
