This watershed includes the area which flows
into the boneyard ditch, the pond and the area adjacent to the ditch. The
drainage area for the ditch is approximately 936 acres. 'This ditch is
generally two to three feet deep and five to six feet wide at the top.
Runoff from this ditch exits just east of the entrance road to the new
boneyard. 'This water is conveyed off the permit area via the haul road
ditch. Please refer to the following SEDCAD printouts for further
information.
office Diversion Ditch
The office ditch was constructed to intercept the runoff above the office
area and carry it away frwn the facilities. Zhis area drains
approximately three acres. The upper portion of the ditch is
approximately two feet deep and four feet wide. Over the years, since the
ditch was constructed in 1984, downcutting became a problem on the lacer
reach of the ditch. This area has recently been regraded and the channel
riprapped to prevent this from occ~uring in the future. This section is
approximately 12 feet wide at the top and 2 feet deep. Please refer to
the following SIDCI~D printout for additional information.
Wadge Pit Diversion No. lA
The Wadge Pit diversion was constructed to carry the runoff from the pit
area and discharge it into the drainage above Pend 008.
