Please see the attached copy of a <br />March 10, 1999 letter from this office [o Ms. Richael Michels. <br />The project has been reviewed in accordance wilt Section 404 of the Clean Water Act <br />under which [he U.S. Army Corps of Engineers regulate:; the discharge of dredged and fill <br />material, and any excavation activity associated with a dr:;dge and fill project, in waters of the <br />United States such as s[realns, lakes and wetlands. Basec. on the plans presented, this project will <br />not require a Department of the Army (DA) permit. <br />If any work is to take place in the spring/wetlands complex located at the NE area of <br />this property, this office should be notified for proper Department of the Army permits prior <br />to any work in the spring/wetlands complex. <br />Although a DA Permit will not be required for thl: project, this does not eliminate the <br />requirement that other applicable federal, state, tribal, anti local permits are obtained if needed. <br />If there are any questions concerning this matter, please call Mr. Terry McKee of this <br />office at 303-979-4120 and reference Corps File No. 199980117. <br />tm <br />
