The above history of channel PG 51-2 in conjunction with the relatively small <br />drainage area and the evidence that the channel is self armored, supports CYCC <br />• contention that no repair is warranted. The elimination of the Area 51 East <br />channel can Doan- without impairing reclamation progress aryl reclamation success. <br />The drainage area of PG-51-2 will be am*Y+Yi,nately 42 acres. i~r regions to <br />the east of Area 26 will ultimately drain throtx)h Channel PG-60-1 as the post- <br />mining road will direct flow to PG-60-1.
