Slurry lines will then be laid in a <br />shallow ditch along Highway 133 from the mined-out sections of the West <br />Portal areas to the wash plant. <br />A bathhouse will also be required at the East Portal. It will be <br />sited on the existing disturbed East Portal yard (Exhibit 2.05.2-F). <br />The lJest Portal coal storage area will be rebuilt in 1982. Plans <br />call fora conveyor from the storage site to the truck dump at the silos. <br />This will eliminate the need for additional truck traffic on Highway 133. <br />The conveyor will be partially enclosed which will minimize fugitive <br />dust. <br />These surface facilities (Exhibit 2.05.2-E) will be constructed on <br />• previously disturbed ground. The turnout and access road will be on <br />ground previously disturbed by the Highway Department. <br />2.05.3 Operation Plan - Permit Area <br />Each application will contain a detailed description of the specific <br />mining operation proposed to be conducted within the permit area.
