These resources have not been evaluated for inclusion in the <br />• National Register. However, rhey must be considered to be Eligible for <br />inclusion In the National Register until a formal determination has been <br />completed. <br />] Information* regarding cultural resources pending nomination to or on the <br />National Register of Historic Places in the proposed project area is <br />attached. <br />Our files contain incomplete information for this area as the vast majority <br />of Colorado has not been inventoried. There is the possibility tha[ as yet <br />uniden[ified Cultural Resources exist within the proposed impact area. <br />Therefore, in the event that there is Federal involvement, we recommend that <br />she federal agency conduct a professional survey to identify any Eligible <br />Cultural Fu sources in the proposed project area. <br />We anticipate consultation with this office regarding the Effect of the <br />proposed ntoject on any Eligible resource in accordance with the Advisory <br />Council Procedures for the Preservation and :rotecti.u of Historic and Cultural <br />Resources (36 CFR 800). <br />Please provide this office with the results of the survey fur our review of <br />professional adequacy and compliance. <br />Barbara Sadler <br />~~ State Historic preservation Officer (Acting) <br />*Information regarding significant archaeological resources is excluded from <br />the Freedom of Information Act.
