<br />u <br /> <br />JUN 291987 <br />EXHIBIT D: RECLAMATION PLAN <br />4 <br />1. No overburden will be enco>~iered. <br />MINED LAND <br />RECLAMATION DIVISION <br />2. A slope of la:l frill be loft along the west and the south <br />sides of the mined area. The reason for leaving these two <br />slopes 1z:1 is that the existing tipograph already contains <br />slopes that steep (see exhibit E). Prior permission from <br />the land owner has already been obtained for slopes that will <br />blend into existing topograph. <br />3.. 12" of topsoil will be spread ~t mined areas to hasten re- <br />vegetation. <br />Q, The site will be seeded in the fall. A seed bed will be <br />prepared by disking and following the natural contours. <br />The seed will be drilled .at a depth of less than ~ inch. <br />In areas that cannot be drilled, the seed will be broadcasted <br />at double the sedding rate. <br />5. The proposed seed mixture by BLY is as followes: <br />Species Lbs. Pls/Acss: <br />Ffestern wheatgrass (~rriba) 3 <br />Pubescent wheatgrass (Luna) 2 <br />Russian wildrye (Vinnal) 2 <br />Crestsd wheatgrass (Fairway) 2 <br />Yellow sweetclo~er (Yadred) D.5 <br />Fourwing saltbush (Wytana/Rincon) 2 <br />6., The seed will be applied using the method described in para» <br />graph 4 of exhibit D. <br />7., 1Lulch+- (This Bill be decided by the Soil Conservation.) <br />B.. No man-made structures will remain after the site is reclaimed. <br />9. Not applicable. <br />10. This will depend upon the Soil Conservation report,* <br />(* These Bill be sent When a report from the Soil Conservation <br />department arrives.) <br />
