<br />Complete data recovery at structures, middens and features. <br />Clear vegetation and scrape the surface of the remainder of the <br />site for other features that might be completely buried. <br />Complete data recovery as noted. <br />Complete analysis and reporting (including sample analysis if <br />needed). Prepare and package artifacts and samples for curation <br />and transfer to the Anasazi Heritage Center (federal repository). <br />Provide for repatriation of human remains or other materials <br />recovered that fall under the authority of Native American Graves <br />Protection & Repatriation Act. <br />DETERMINATION <br />The proposed gravel pit involving public land surface can <br />reasonably proceed via the DMG process with the recommended <br />mitigation measures described above. The BLM and the mineral <br />owner will continue to work together to preserve cultural <br />resources and restore other surface resources which may be <br />impacted by mining operations. <br />10 <br />
