<br /> <br />FXHT_$TT E - RE LAMATTON .AN N R ATTVE ( ONTI TFD) <br />(Revised 01/06/95) <br />Compaction will be achieved by driving trucks and other <br />equipment over filled areas, and by the use of equipment on ~ <br />the bank areas, prior to placement of topsoil for revegetation <br />(if any bank areas remain as part of permanent reclamation). <br />If lake banks are part of permanent reclamation, maintenance <br />of the banks will be required as part of ongoing maintenance <br />with reconstruction of banks being undertaken, or placement of <br />riprap in some areas, as needed. <br />4. Abutting the west side of the property will be the South <br />Platte River channel and berm area. This area will serve a <br />dual purpose of flood control and wildlife habitat. Disturbed ,Q/~Uw~/ <br />areas and areas presently denuded of vegetation because of aF <br />the lake of surface soil material in the northwest portion of w~cptlFf <br />Area 2A along the east side of River's ox-bow, will be <br />revecretated. The same ground cover grass as is outlined in a <br />later section of this EXHIBIT F will be utilized, unless the <br />Urban Drainage and Flood Control District specifies a <br />different seeding rate. <br />5. The reclamation recommendations included in Exhibits I and J, <br />on subsoiling, mulching, fertilization, weed control, and <br />grazing will be followed. <br />Reseeding <br />Approximately 12" of topsoil/overburden material shall be O~VISIo~ <br />utilized for revegetation, pYropt along rhP s[]„r1~ Rlartc Rivor <br />Berm Area where 6" will be utilized to cover existing non- o F <br />vegetated areas west and north ~f the f„rnr LPCPT't7Oir hank. The <br />following seed mixture shall be planted for permanent <br />revegetation in all areas proposed for revegetation: <br />Grasses % of Mix PLS Per Acre <br />Western wheatgrass, Barton 20% 3.2 <br />Streambank wheatgrass, Sodar 10% 1.1 <br />Slender wheatgrass, common 10% 1.1 <br />Switchgrass, Blackwell 10% .5 <br />Little bluestem 10% .7 <br />Blue gram, Covington 10% .6 <br />Sideoats grama, Vaughn 10% .9 <br />Cicer Milk vetch, Monarch 10% L.3 <br />Total Pure Live Seed (PLS) per acre 9.4 <br />Seeding will occur in either the fall or spring, and will be <br />repeated in either the next fall or spring if necessary. Other <br />detail on seeding may be found in the accompanying recommendations <br />as outlined in the letter in EXHIBIT I/J <br />
