,.
Mr. Tom Schreiner, Division of Minerals and Geology
April 15, 2005
Page 5
~~
CIVIL RESOURCES, LLC
Comment i6: In conformance with Rule 6.4.7(3), please revise the estimate of project water ...
Response 15: The water required to reclaim this project if it were abandoned would include construction
water only. The cost of water to fill a reservoir is not a cost to complete the reclamation it
is an "ertd use". After acceptance as a lured storage facility by the State Engineer's
Office, the facility is considered complete and no further augmentation (TSSP or
otherwise) is required. In other words, the project will have been reclaimed and no
continuing injury to water rights or other real property rights is occumng and therefore no
additional water is required.
We believe our response information is reflective of our verbal discussion of each comment and therefore
should adequately address your comments. However, if you have additional questions please do not
hesitate to call me at 303.833.1416 ext. 1#.
Sincerely,
CIVIL RESOURCES, LLC
Brad L. Hagen, P.E.
Water Resources Engineer /Principal
