Per your request I am enclosing
separate permit applications and apes forms for the following
operations at Hawk's Nest Mines.
• 1. East Mine and Crushing Facility (existing)
2. West Mine and Crushing Facility (proposed)
3. Coal Preparation Plant (existing)
4. Rail Loadout (existing)
As we discussed over the telephone our production from
both mines is expected to reach a maxicmmi of 1.5 million tons per
year (1.3 million tons from the East Mine and 200,000 tons from
the West Mine). Our wash plant has a capacity of 1.5 million tons
per year also, but we do not anticipate washing all of the coal.
Hopefully, coal produced from the west Mine will be clean and also
some of the coal produced from the East Dune will be clean.
Our loadout facility has the capacity of 55,000 tans.
The above information along with the air pollution crontrols
used at each location are depicted on the flow diagrams attached.
The entire operation is spread out over five (5) acres.
•
A S U!
